Lately, I’ve been speaking with founders and early-stage entrepreneurs building the next wave of sales tools. As someone who’s experienced this world from every angle, as a Power User, Consultant, Design Partner, and Strategic Advisor - I can tell you: this shift was inevitable.
There’s one clear signal across the board:
👉 Vendors are no longer setting the rules. Users are.
Just like the telecom industry 15 years ago!
Back then, cellular providers controlled everything -
From bandwidth to features to pricing, all based on their margins and their roadmap.
Then the iPhone happened. And everything changed.
Suddenly, the power shifted:
💡 Users demanded more bandwidth
💡 Developers created apps around user needs
💡 Telcos had no choice but to surrender, adapt, and accelerate innovation
Today, I see the same happening in our world. Sales leaders, GTM leaders, and RevOps professionals are tired of tools that:
💡Force a rigid workflow
💡Create more noise than insight
💡Were designed for “the average user” and not for real-life use cases
AI has become the great equalizer. It gives users power to customize, automate, and shape tools around their unique motions.
Not the other way around.
💡 We’re witnessing a fundamental shift:
💡From “tools we have to use” ➝ to “tools that adapt to how we work best.”
The result?
💡 A new breed of super users — mastering their stack, rejecting the status quo, and setting the pace for what’s next.
💡 This is no longer vendor-led innovation. It’s user-forged transformation.
If you're building in this space, you better listen to the field (e.g. that's what Base44 did!)
If you're leading GTM, realize how much influence you actually have.
And if you're stuck with legacy tools - challenge them.
You’re no longer at their mercy.
The future of sales tech is being rewritten - by the people actually using it.
It’s not a theory dump.
It’s a blueprint for Enablement pros who want to break silos, build real alignment, and earn a seat at the strategic table — next to the CRO, not beneath them.
I’m mentoring and coaching individuals who want to land their dream GTM roles, just like I did.
If you're looking to break through, reinvent your path, or just need clarity on what’s next, I’m here.
I’m even happy to make warm referrals when I see the right fit.
